AAE has organized dialogues with communities to brainstorm with communities in Makueni county on the subject “Who are mostly left behind in the development matters in the community?” It has been discussed the following groups were most left behind in the Makueni communities:

1. Youths; probably due to ignorance, lack of jobs which could earn them income, drug abuse
2. Persons with Disabilities (PWDs); mostly came as after thoughts, majorly lacked assistants to help them access the development venues and activities. Minimum government support and low self esteem
3. Senior citizens; The old people at home require much care, many lacks the proper information on development matter, have little energy and inadequate resources to engage in development activities
4. Woman and children, and
5. Minority group (Ngulya)
