AAE as SGD champions Makueni County has been at the forefront in localisation the SDGs. In collaboration with the Makueni county Directorate of Socio- economic planning this has ensured that strategic priorities are mainstreamed in government programmes and projects geared towards the attainment of the SDGs.

In collaboration with SDGs Forum Kenya, the County departments AAE carried out SDGs Policy Dialogue in Makueni County to sensitize county government staff, selected members of community on SDGs and community voices in relation to development needs.

The key participants in the dialogue were;
